Facundo de la Cruz & Paola Sanz
Facundo De La Cruz & Paola Sanz won the title of World Champions of Tango Salon at the 10th World Tango Championship in Buenos Aires on August 12, 2012. They are talented representatives of a generation of young dancers who are dedicated to the art and tradition of salon tango. Hailing from the provinces of Cordoba and Chubut, Argentina, they have honed their dance for more than ten years, four of which have been together. Their independent exploration of the essence of tango salon, elegance, connection, and musicality, has allowed them to create a dance that is unique, yet traditional. After winning several tango competitions in the provinces, they moved to Buenos Aires, where they are teaching and performing in many prominent venues. Facundo is known for his crisp enrosques and sharp syncopations, and Paola for her delicate and elegant footwork.
This is their second year here and are in high demand.

Santiago & Amy
Santiago & Amy are a very popular teaching couple here in the Bay Area, known not only for their exact teaching at Tango Escuela but their kind and gregarious personalities. As a professional couple Santiago and Amy have been dancing Tango Salon together since 2007. They’ve studied with and learned from different master teachers and milongueros, always prevailing traditional Tango Salon.
They focus their tango on the subtleties of the embrace, the elegance, the connection and the quality of movement. They come from a place of rudimentary knowledge and deep technique. They transmit in their dance, as in their lessons, the importance of celebrating tango from the intimacy of the embrace and the unique encounter of two people.
They have been invited to be part of the most important and acclaimed International Tango Festivals sharing the cast with most prestigious masters of tango.
