We are all in for a treat! This coming Tuesday, April 24th, San Francisco’s favorite orchestra will be playing at El Valenciano.
Seth Arsanow y Su Sexteto Tipico play music from the tango orchestras of the 40’s to the more contemporary arrangements of well-known tango pieces.
Here is what some of the Tango masters have said:
“I really enjoyed dancing to this orchestra, and there are very few live orchestras in this world I enjoy dancing to, even in my home city of Buenos Aires”– Susana Miller “In my career I’ve dance to live music many times, but dancing to their music was something really special. Of all the orchestras I have heard in North America, this one is the best!”
– Fabian Salas
El Valenciano is located in the middle of the hip Mission district. There are many delicious restaurants nearby for grabbing a bite to eat before hand. This is also a great place for non-tango dancers to experience authentic Argentine Tango dancing and a live Tango orchestra. A drop-in Tango lesson taught by Julian and Claudia is at 8pm. Tango dance party starts at 9:30pm.
See you there!
