All-Nighter at The Beat

2560 9th St. (Between Dwight and Parker), Berkeley, CA

This event is one of the longest running North American all-nighters and attracts dancers from and outside of the bay area. It is held on the 4th Saturday of every month, and is hosted by Felipe & Ayano and Jonas & Xiaomin. Cost of admission includes delicious snacks and wine as well as hot tea and coffee to provide sustenance for the long night of dancing.

9:30pm-10:30pm: Drop-in class by rotating local instructors or guest teachers
10:30pm-dawn: All night milonga

Class and Milonga: $20 (full-time student with ID $15)
Milonga only: $15 (full-time student with ID $10)
Parking:
Easy parking on street/ or Uber from Downtown Berkeley Bart
Bar: No, but snacks provided
Dress: Dress to impress


Vecher Tango

Russian Center of San Francisco, 2460 Sutter St., San Francisco, CA

An elegant space at the Russian Center of San Francisco boasting a superb floor and sound system. Enjoy Art Deco ambiance, and a full bar with Flavored Vodkas, Baltica Beer and Zakuski (light snacks). DJ Glenn Corteza. Vecher Tango is held every first, third and fifth Saturday of the month.

8:00 - 9:00 Preliminary Basics Class
9:00 - 1:30am Milonga

Admission: $17 Class & Milonga, $12 Milonga only, $5 after midnight.

Street parking can be found around neighborhood

La Milonga de Nora

5855 Christie Avenue, Allegro Ballroom, Emeryville, CA

The Allegro is a very large ballroom/dance studio with an excellent dance floor. Dancers of all levels feel welcome at this milonga. Held every 2nd Saturday of the month. Class is at 8pm, with guest instructors, Milonga 9pm until 2am.

Admission: $25 Class & Milonga, $20 Milonga only
Parking:
Easy parking in large parking lot

Milonga Época in Oakland

Lake Merritt Dance Center (Lakeview Hall 1 - Upstairs)
200 Grand Ave, Oakland, CA

This elegant milonga is held in a beautiful space at the Lake Merritt Dance Center in downtown Oakland. There is a nice sized wood dance floor, easy parking in front of building with security, plus a good spread of snacks. There is a class before hand by rotating local and visiting instructors. Milonga is from 9pm to 12:30am. Held every Saturday (except every second Saturday).

Milonga Sentimental

Motion Arts Center, 217 South Claremont Street, San Mateo, CA

Gustavo and Jesica Hornos, professional teachers from Argentina and USA Tango Champions host La Milonga Sentimental every Saturday (except the 4th). A 1.5 hour workshop is taught by Gustavo and Jesica before the milonga. Gustavo is also an excellent DJ. The Motion Arts Center has state of the art sound equipment, inviting mood lighting and a beautiful and spacious dance floor. Appetizers and drinks and provided but you can also bring your own refreshments.

7:30pm-9pm Workshop
9pm-1am Milonga Sentimental (The Tango Party) with DJ Gustavo.

Admission: $20 Workshop only, $25 Workshop & Milonga, $15 Milonga Only
Parking:
Small parking lot, easy parking nearby on street
Bar: No, but drinks and appetizers provided
